From most of Tijuana you can be at our warehouse in San Ysidro in about 10–15 minutes once you clear the border — under 4 miles from the pedestrian crossing, and even closer to the northbound vehicle lanes at San Ysidro POE.
Why Tijuana shoppers use a US address
If you've ever tried to check out on Amazon, Best Buy, Home Depot, Wayfair, or Lowe's with a Tijuana address, you already know the story: either the cart silently removes the "ship to Mexico" option, or the international shipping quote is four times the price of the item, or oversized goods (TVs, furniture, appliances, auto parts, fitness equipment) simply can't cross. Otay or San Ysidro? Advice for Tijuana
Our warehouse is on the west side of San Ysidro Blvd, so for most Tijuana addresses the San Ysidro POE (Ped West or vehicle) is the shortest path — once you're through, you're already a few blocks from us.
However, if you're picking up oversized cargo — a 65" TV, a table saw, a mini-split, a sectional couch — we strongly recommend crossing back south via Otay Mesa. Otay has more truck and cargo-friendly lanes, a dedicated commercial facility, and noticeably less pressure from inspectors on personal-use oversize items than the tight San Ysidro lanes. For everyday boxes (under ~30 lbs), San Ysidro is fine.
Timing tip: northbound at San Ysidro between 9:30am and 11:30am on weekdays typically runs the lightest. Ready Lane cuts 20–40 minutes off during those windows. Avoid Fridays after 3pm and Sunday evenings.
