Package receiving for San Felipe residents
San Felipe to San Ysidro is roughly 200 miles and 4 hours via Mexicali and Highway 5 — or alternatively across at Calexico. It's a real expedition, which is exactly why San Felipe customers use us differently than Tijuana customers.
Consolidate a month at a time
The distance is the feature, not the bug. Instead of one amazon order showing up today and another next Thursday, San Felipe expats batch a month's worth of online orders into a single pickup trip. That might be: a new router, an outboard propeller, a set of ATV tires, a pallet of non-perishables from Costco, a replacement inverter, bedding, paint, pool chemicals, a couple of Amazon impulse buys. One border run, one customs conversation, one fueling.
Our 6 days of free storage can be extended for a small daily fee, so if your trip slips a week there's no crisis — just let us know.

Routing and crossing tips
Most San Felipe travelers come through Mexicali → Calexico because it's the shortest mileage, then drive west on I-8 to San Diego. That works, but our warehouse is on the San Ysidro side — so you'll add about 90 minutes of I-8 freeway time after crossing. Plan the whole round trip as an overnight: cross northbound in the morning, pick up in the afternoon, sleep in San Diego, cross back south (with fresh eyes) the next morning.
If you're bringing a large load back, seriously consider crossing south at Otay Mesa. Calexico East is fine for one TV, but Otay's cargo-adjacent lanes make the experience easier when the truck bed is full.
Pro tip: for stuff that weighs a lot but is cheap (bags of dog food, motor oil, pool chemicals), the $0.10/lb rate above 70 lbs makes us genuinely cheap for heavy low-dollar goods.
